mixing black and brown/outfit opinions

I want something a little dressy for the holidays.  I was thinking of getting this dress.  Since it's sleeveless I thought I might put my cardiwrap with it, but it's brown.  Would it look bad?

I was going to wear this with my taupe kitten heel boots.

I love the brown black combo. My suggestion would be to find something that ties the black and brown together like a scarf or earrings. Post so that we can see.

Got any suggestions Sunshine?  Anyone else?

I agree with wearing jewelry that ties the black and brown together - tortoiseshell would do the trick nicely. I'm not a big jewelry shopper and wouldn't know where to look for some, but I'm sure the other girls have ideas!

i think you've got it... just add some warm-tone jewelry... something based on gold or bronze instead of silver.
