How long does it take?

How long does it usually take for something at JCPenney to go on sale?  I know everything there is always on sale it seems, but I saw a jacket there for $80 that I want, but I am not going to pay $80 when I know it will be on sale for half price before long.  Any ideas?

I'm sure not very long.  A new Penney's stand alone store opened up down the street from me last week, so I went in.  It was a mad house, but what irked me is that the WHOLE STORE was on "sale".   That drives me crazy when stores jack up their prices, just so they can have a sale.  It's nervewracking.  Sorry for the hijack.  But, it doesn't seem like Penney's M.O. lately to have something at regular price and especially w/ Christmas buying season ahead, you'll find a deal.  I've been seeing a lot of coupons in their ads on Sundays as well.

I can almost guarantee you that if you wait a couple of weeks, whatever you are wanting  will go on sale.  And, if you can wait closer to Christmas it will be even lower in price.
