Capote Walk the Line Harry Potter Chronicles of Narnia
Right now I am obsessing over the latest list in Blender magazine. The greatest rock and roll movies of all time. Some of them I own or have seen thankfully(like The Last Waltz, and No Direction Home)but now I want to see all the ones I haven't seen. So last night I bought The Rose, starring Bette Midler in a part based on Janis. I remember seeing bits and pieces years ago. Sid and Nancy is also on the list but I don't know if I can stand hearing Nancy scream "Siiiiiiddddd" for two hours again. Sooo, obviously I just can't focus on new releases right now!!
(Me watching rock and roll movies drinking lotsa coffee.)
PS right now I am looking at an unopened DVD of the Cream concert. So you see what I am dealing with.
oh god... too many to count... plus the BF drags me to the movie theatre every friday night (and sometimes saturdays and sundays too depending on how many releases happened)
on my list is:
Shop Girl
Good Night, and Good Luck
Walk the Line
Harry Potter
Narnia
The Family Stone
i am having a moment and can't think of any more right now... but i know there are more!
-Shopgirl!!!! It's only playing at two theaters in Manhattan though, wth! -Capote -Good Night and Good Luck -A History of Violence -The Squid and the Whale -Thumbsucker
I can't remember all the upcoming releases that interested me but I'll definitely see Walk the Line, Harry Potter and Narnia.
Maddie - I've seen Junebug and Proof. They're both surprisingly good. I liked Proof best but that's b/c I have the Jake Gyllenhaal thing. Amy Adams was so effing good in Junebug!! I hope she gets an academy nomination out of it.
Jarhead - saw it this weekend! A bit long but it has a lot of eye candy, so no prob. Did I mention I love Jake Gyllenhaal???
This time of year there are suddenly all these great movies! I almost get stressed out about getting to see them all.
I want to see: Harry Potter (already bought my tickets for this Friday) Shopgirl Walk The Line Derailed Jarhead The Family Stone Narnia Memoirs of a Geisha Rent Pride and Prejudice Brokeback Mountain
