i don't think its silly if you need a big bag! Maybe it would be silly to carry such a large bag if you only have a lipstick and a wallet in it, but if you want to lug your stuff around in it, its perfect. Did you want this bag to serve that purpose though? It might look silly carrying a huge bag around if you go to a bar for example.

I say the bigger the bag the better. I have decided I need a suitcase to carry all my stuff around.

Hmmm. That is a tough call, but I would trade it in for the XL. This is a beautiful, classic bag, and I think the slightly smaller one would get more use in the long run (when you don't have baby stuff to carry). It's big enough that you can carry quite a lot now, but it won't be "empty" without more stuff down the road.

Also, carrying a baby and a big heavy bag sounds like it could lead to muscle tightness and back pain. I'm a total wimp about stuff like that, though, so maybe not a problem for you.

Gorgeous bag, btw! The hubby did good.

don't know where it came from, but i rarely carry a small bag.
