Any thoughts on the height? Does it have to be just at the height of the sofa or below OR can it be slightly above. Our sofa is 30" high and I've seen some gorgeous tables at 34" and 32" but I worry we'll hit our heads on it..... Although, really, how often are we tossing our heads back while sitting up perfectly straight on our cushy-couch? What do you guys think? __________________

Hmmm...I have two smaller tables behind my couch that serve as my imaginary console... (I can't afford one now, so these will do)

They are about 2 inches shorter than the sofa and look great.

I don't know that I would go higher...I think it would look rather odd from the front view to have table showing behind the sofa.
