I went to DSW looking for a pair of basic dark brown heels for work...ended up with these two pairs of shoes (same style but different colors).  I can't resist a good deal.  I'm thinking I may return the camel colored ones though because I really don't need them.  I'll definitely keep the red.

Just adding that I bought the Back to the Future Trilogy from Walmart for $20.  I Michael J. Fox.  When I was a kid, I used to rent these movies over and over and over again. I luuuuurve them and now, at long last, they are mine!

Ok...let's see...where do I start:


At Target on Friday:



  • Halloween candy was reduced 70% so I got a couple of bags of candy corn

  • oil for the car

  • a clearanced shirt for my son

  • chapstick in 7-up flavor

  • hair elastics

  • Starbucks vanilla frap for my son, caramel frap for me...its our every-other-Friday splurge tradition!

  • Dvd Ocean's 12

At Target on Saturday:



  • 6 round pyrex bowls

  • 6 rectangular pyrex bowls

$250 in groceries...I'm really trying to do the once-a-month cooking...or at least once-every-two-weeks cooking!


Sunday we hit the Jeffersonville Outlets.  Most of the stuff we came home with was bought for my son by his grandmother.



  • Polo Ralph Lauren V-Neck T...$12.99 to replace the one that had an 'incident' with bleach

  • Gap bear slippers for the boy...awww...

  • two sweaters and two long-sleeve onesies for the boy
