a new range for our kitchen. it was originally 1100, and i got it for 550 at the sears outlet. (nothing was wrong with it except for a tiny scratch on the handle)
Just these - OMG - if you love pickles or garlic & especially if you love both - THEY ARE TO DIE FOR!! I bought them at a Christmas Market, so I don't count them as groceries & that's why they are in this thread. But you don't want to be near me right now - I smell like a garlic!

a new house in the DC metro area (Virginia to be exact) *gulp* We haven't sold our house in Washington, so that's two mortgages, so no shopping for me for a while.
Wow! I've been living in northern VA for 3 years and I can't afford to buy a house. Go you!! Maybe someday I can sell a kidney/lung/firstborn and move out of my apt.
Some BEAUTIFUL leather burgundy tall boots from Sears, they would've been $54.99, but I MISSED the sale by 3-days, so I had to pay the full price of $70.00, oh well. LOL

to appease myself after the heartbreaking "sorry, the Pucci dress you ordered is no longer in stock" letter from Nieman's, I found this Missoni dress. was $575, marked down to $201...

I'm so sorry about your Pucci dress but this Missoni I think is even more gorgeous!

oh good! you know, I think you guys are right - I just wanted that Pucci because it's pretty classic and is something I'd have forever - but so is this and I love the color combo and fairly classic Missoni look - I think I can definitely get away with wearing it year round (much more than the Pucci). thanks for the validation
