Mittens vs Gloves

I think mittens are generally supposed to be warmer, something to do with body heat and your fingers being next to each other. I've always worn gloves though. I do know that the times that I've had mittens on and tried to walk the dog, it's a little bit harder because I can't get as good a grip on his leash.

I've heard the same thing about mittens. Maybe find a pair that has some sort of grip (rubber or leather or somethng) on the palm and/or finger tip areas.

The body heat factor was what i was hoping would work for me with mittens. The grip idea if a good one! I'll start looking around for a pair with grips now. Thanks!

I am a big fan of mittens. During the winter I never go out the house without my mittens. :D
