My bridal shower cake was my favorite. Buttercream icing, yellow cake, and raspberry filling. mmm.

We recently decided not to have a cake. We tried so many and none of them were worth the thousands of $$$. So I think we're just going to go with individual chocolate mousse or a pastry station. I can't see paying so much for a cake that's three days old and doesn't taste good. I think I'd rather have Hostess cupcakes than an unmemorable, icky, dry wedding cake.

We are going super simple because our favorite cake is chocolate with sour cream icing. I just read about someone's cake on the knot and it was pink lemonade....that might be perfect for my wedding. ;)
