there's some store in new york that is going to be selling topshop items, actually. i can't remember the name, but i think i read about it in maybe harper's?

first of all bumblebee i want to hug you and kill you all at once! i didn't know that topshop had online shopping so i'm really excited but i'm also wanting to cry because everything is so awesome but i have almost no shopping funds right now plus i'm afraid to find out what international shipping costs.

secondly, i now really want that coat even though i have many more winter coats than i need.

thirdly i searched all over that site last night and can't find those boots anywhere. if i email them about international shipping i can ask for you.

I emailed topshop last year and they said they didn't do international shipping... which made me very sad.

I really hope they are doing it by now!

the store in NYC that is going to carry topshop is opening ceremony--but they are going to only carry a small collection of the items that the store's own designers created--i think it's called "boutique" or "bazaar" or something. there's a story in the new vogue about it.

also, there was an article about a year ago saying that topshop has such demand from american customers that they were going to open up online shopping through their website, but it looks like it hasn't happened quite the way they intended it to. i'm sure the international shipping is tres expensive.

between topshop and office shoes i've really been itching to go to england recently. i even looked into shipping costs to france but they aren't much cheaper than shipping to the us.

i'll should go to opening ceremony to check out the topshop stuff. that store is pretty small but i just saw an article which said the topshop collection is "upstairs" so perhaps they've expanded.

thanks for thinking of me! I actually ordered the Tracy reese coat- I needed a black warm wool coat. I'll let you all know how that goes. That Topshop coat is a great option though, although may be hard to find!
