I'd go with #2. My FH has a pair similar to the first ones and I would prefer that they had more of a square toe on them. The 2nd ones are also more casual than the first, I think.

that being said: for casual everyday- he wears his pair that is like number 2. and when he wants to kick it up a notch, he wears number 3.
