I made this last night and it was really quick and easy and turned out really good.  Plus its only 4 to 5 WW points!!


Southwestern Pork Chops

Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

4 lean boneless pork loin chops -- 4 4-oz pieces
1/3 cup salsa
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley -- optional

1. Coat large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over high heat until hot. Press chops with palm of hand to flatten slightly; add to skillet and cook1 minute on each side or until browned. Reduce heat to medium-low.

2. Combine salsa and lime juice; pour over chops. Simmer uncovered, 8 minutes or until chops are done. If desired, sprinkle chops with cilantro or parsley.

Each serving provides: 3 Lean Meat or 4 Points

Per serving: 190 calories; 25.3 g protein; 8.3 g fa (2.8 g saturated fat)t; 2.0 g carbohydrate; 21 mg calcium; 132 mg sodium; 71 mg cholesterol; 1.3 mg iron

I make a variation of this with bonless skinless chicken breast and pinapple salsa, also very good.  I believe it low WW points too, about the same actually.

I do this too!!  I love the pineapple salsa.  It is the best.
