I have worn mine with jeans, cords, cord skirts w/ or w/o tights, and long skirts - a favorite outfit to wear them with last summer (cooler days/nights) was a long tiered cotton skirt, tight tee and huge moroccan disc belt - I don't know what it was about that outfit, but I had guys falling all over me when I wore it
