variation on the baked brie

Christine's recipe looked AWESOME but i also wanted to share with you what my mom does with her baked brie - i ask for it every time i come home - in fact the first time i came home after being away at college, i told my mom i wanted her pulling it out of the oven as my dad and i walked in from the airport!

anyway, if you haven't noticed yet, you will soon know that my family loves all things onions and garlic.

anyway, she sets the brie in "phyllo" dough - very flaky - the same thing used for greek pastries.

on top of the brie she piles crushed garlic, finely chopped shallots, and mushrooms.  she wraps the whole thing ups and bakes it - prob with the same stats as christine's recipe in the thanksgiving dinner section.

we eat this on water crackers but i could seriously just eat it all by itself - SO GOOD!
