I can get the Motorola for $50 or the LG for free. I've never heard of the brand LG, also I don't talk on the phone that much. Can anyone offer me feedback on the quality of these? Thanks.

I have owned phones from both companies and while my Motorola(a v60c...they don't make them anymore) was far sexier in design and had great reception, it was always breaking. I honestly prefer the more utlitarian LG phone I use now (VX6100) because it doesn't break and the battery lasts longer than my Motorola ever did.


If you don't use the phone much you won't really use any of the features. You may as well save by getting the LG and investing the $50 into some shoes.

I've had 2 LG phones in a row and they've both been great!  They've never been broken or needed any kind of service.  I've never had any complaints about how they work.  The first one I had for 2 years and the second one about 6 months.

Yes, I can think of many ways I rather spend $50. Thanks so much for the advice guys, LG it is.

I just wanted to say I ended up getting an LG (the same as Lilykind) and I love it.  So much better than my old nokia!!

My current phone is a Nokia and I hate it. Six mos. into my contract the phone would constantly shut off on its own. When I went to Cingular they said "oh, you just have to open the back and jiggle the sim card." Uh... yeah, call me naive, but I kind of expected the phone to last at least as long as the contract and I have better things to do than fuss with the sim card for five minutes before every phone call.

I work for Verizon Wireless and we sell alot of LG phones. I'd go with the LG for sure. Also samsung is pretty good.

Oh my! LG phones rock - you need to get the 9800. It is so cooooool! Its got everything - bluetooth, MP3, video/camera! Forget your blackberry - this is it. Check it out. I am seriously considering getting it.

Right click on the picture you want to post and click copy then come over here and right click and click paste.


Wicked- I had that same sim card issue with my nokia!!!  drove me nuts!!!
