thanks for the compliments on the choo bag in my weekday shopping post - it is a gorgeous bag, isn't it?  in my excitement to see it finally listed on bluefly, I bought it without hesitation (well, maybe a little hesitation because of the price) because it had been haunting me which I always see as a good sign that it will be a good purchase.


so here's the deal - the one I ordered is 14x9. I found another one that's a tad smaller (8 3/4"H x 13 1/4"W) in choc. brown, but it doesn't have the whipstitching that I like so much, BUT it would cost me $300 less... I guess I like the first one because there's so much more detail in it with the whipstitching and rivets... I don't know, should I keep the one that sings to me?

they're both pretty, but i think it's worth $300 more for one that you absolutely love.  it's more unique, too--you won't see anyone else carrying it.

ok - that helps a lot. I guess I just needed some confirmation that I got the right one. If I stumbled on that other one, I may have looked at it for a minute, but I wouldn't have bought it... and it is nice that no one else will have one (there seems to be a lot of limited edition versions of this bag that go for more - I'm guessing this is one of them, which is cool). 


so yes - I will not let my first love go! thanks for the opinions! I'm so glad I have you guys to bounce things off of!
