Wow! I am floored by the excellent service at C.O. Bigelow. (www.bigelowchemists.com)

In addition to carrying my somewhat hard-to-find perfume, which I have always had to purchase at Neiman's (aka land of not accepting normal credit cards), they are sooo on the ball with orders. I placed my order and received instand confirmation that it was received. About five minutes later I received an email that it was being processed. A couple hours later I received an email that it had been shipped. AND, shipping was free and the product was less than I normally pay.

Yay Bigelow!

I've always had great experiences at their brick+mortar store here in Columbus also.  And I that they carry a whole set of german products that before now I always had to have imported!  Ah, bliss!

I've been wanting to order a few things from the site, so I'm happy to hear that both of you have had excellent service.

A b&m store just opened in the mall I usually go to and this place is amazing.  It's beautiful, the sales staff is very friendly and helpful, and they stock tons of hard-to-find items.  I think this is my new favorite store!

TST:  do you know if they named it "CO Bigelow" or Bath and Body Works?  I am only curious b/c in Columbus at Les Wexner's mall (Easton)- they recently opened their new prototype BBW store and it looks identical to the COB store (which is right across the street) and i wondered what direction the company was taking...

also, they opened the new VS prototype store that looks like hooker heaven.... it is all black with pink florescent lighting!

sorry for the thread hijack!!!

i do find the staff at COB very helpful if not too much!

Bex, it's CO Bigelow but I noticed that they carried some of the same stuff as BBW.  Also, last time I was in BBW (I think it was last week) I noticed that they had a small selection of CO Bigelow products.  I'm wondering if maybe there was some sort of a merger or a buyout?

They are both owned by Limited Brands.  I don't know whether or not CO Bigelow is a new acquisition for Limited or not.

jacL is right- they are both owned by the Limited (aka- Les Wexner the god of the Limited)...

i live in columbus so they are always trying out the new brands/stores in the mall that les wexner created.  thats why i asked b/c they opened the new "bbw" a couple of months ago and it looks identical to the COB they have right across the street from it.  so i was curious what direction they were going... whether they were going with COB or BBW in mass

I've never had any interaction with a C.O.Bigelow store, but I bought two of their lip sheer tints at B and BW's today and just wanted to rave about that particular product. They are really cheap (only $7.50 for .5 oz), neutral enough that you could wear any of the four colors, they last sooo long on your lips and the flavor is such a yummy mint!
