It has been raining non-stop here in Ohio. Plus, winter is coming - - no matter where I will be living. I'm trying to decide whether I want to buy a pair of Wellies or something else.

If I buy Wellies, I am going to have to  probably spend a bit more than I want because I want to find a pair with a narrower shaft circumference - - unless someone knows of inexpensive ones that run narrower.

What shoes/boots/booties/other footwear do you wear besides Wellies that gets you through the rain and light snow--whether they're specifically made for it or not?

........While we're on the subject, I kinda think these boots are cute for heavier snow situations. I'm surprised because these are from Teva.  I was on Teva's website, as part of a school assignment, and that's when I stumbled upon them.

I don't know how much you want to spend, but I have some "Bog" boots from Chinese Laundry that have a narrow circumference. They were $60. I wouldn't say my particular style is warm enough to be winter boots, but maybe that brand has something warmer?

$60 is cool with me. You know, I'm attracted to Hunters, but those are $150. For a pair of wellies, eh. I'd rather spend on something more fun.  :)

I actually just wear my non leather boots from Target in the rain/light snow. I have 2 pairs from a few years ago and they have held up really well. I have narrow calves but with thicker socks and my jeans tucked in, it works out fine.

I really like those Teva boots though. I wonder if they look too rubber IRL?
