I got my Miss Sixty Boots....Can the boots stretch?
Permalink Closed

And my left boot fits my leg but my right calf is too big.  The boots are a Christmas present so I can't wear them until December anyway.  So hopefully by that time I will have lost more weight but I'm scared it still won't fit.  Has anyone ever has a boot stretched?  Does it damage the boot?

I think you should take them to a good cobbler and see what they think about stretching the boots.  Hopefully they'll give you an honest assessment.

i totally feel your pain! my left calf is a monster! it's so much larger than my right one (which is also a giant).

i definitely agree about taking it to a cobbler.. but you have to go in there knowing that they are not miracle workers. since one side fits, i would think that there wouldn't be too much too stretch, but having felt the boot in person, i feel that from the design and the texture/thickness of the leather that the boot may not stretch as easily as something that's calfskin.

but consult a professional.

let us know what the results are! :)

Thanks girls, I'll let you know what the shoe repair place says after they've seen the boots :)
