Quick Help! J.Crew Skirt..
Permalink Closed

what size should i order?  larger or smaller of this skirt.  also, how short is it?  i can't remember who has it.  i want to order it in 30 minutes before i leave for work.

thanks ladies.  and if you don't have it, but own a J.Crew skirt how do they typically run?

i think it runs small.  i wear a 29/occasionally 30 in seven, true religion, other high-end jeans, and i got the 31 in that skirt and it's perfect.  i didn't want it skin-tight, though.  it has no stretch whatsoever.

it's definitely quite a bit shorter than that one on the model--maybe 5-6" shorter is where it hits me (i have long legs though).

hehehe.  that's a completely different skirt.  it sounds like it's above the knee-ish?  i think i'll order it and order the pencil length one too.  thanks for the input.  i really appreciate it.  i'll be leaving for nyc in a week and JUST NOW decided it would be essential for my trip.

i think you will like the shorter one better if you are planning on wearing w/tights and boots.  it is definitely above-the-knee, i would say 4 or 5 inches above my knees.  it's just long enough that it's not really a "miniskirt" though.
