Victoria's Secret Coats

Does anyone have an experience w/Victoria's Secret's coats?  I really like the idea of a pink coat for winter, and these two are really cute, but I'm concerned about the quality.  Anyone?

Also, which one do you like better?

I'm pretty sure I like #1 the best.

My old roommate had the second one in green.  It was really cute and fit her well (also TTS), but the quality was only so-so.  I would say, get it if it is on sale, otherwise no.

I like #1 as well, but #2 seems like the one that you would least likely notice dirt, lint, and possibly pilling.

I bought this coat last winter : for full price- but in the pink color- because I also wanted a jacket in pink. I was dissappointed in the quality in time for the price. I paid around 148.00 for it. I should of returned it- but , I didnt- Just made a mental note not to buy jackets from them again unless hugely on sale. Those two you selected are on sale though arent they? May now be good buy for price. HTH!

Yes, they are both on sale right now.  The first one is $105 and the second is $78.  I really really love #1, and I have for a while.  Everyone's comments make me think twice about buying it because of poor quality though

Don't pay that much for #1, the quality just is not worth it.  The price for #2 is okay if you really love it.

I wish Victoria's Secret had a B&M clothing store because there are so many things I wonder about, but just won't buy because I have had a bad experience with their clothing.

I know someone bought it last year but i'm not sure who did and what the final review of it was.  I say get it and see if you like it and if you don't ship it back!

Well that is an option, I just hate to pay the money to ship and possibly ship back.  VS shipping/returns aren't cheap

Does anyone have this coat?

I've seen both of those coats on Ebay ( new with tags ) ; if money is a concern, definitely try Ebay :) Good luck!

Shopchicago--I have that first one!!!  I must admit that I don't wear it often because  I live in Cali but when it does get cold I love wearing it.  The only thing I regret is that I did not order it in tall--I am 5'9" and although the length is not a problem, the sleeves of the arms are not as long as I'd like them to be.  Other than that, I love it and wish I could wear it more often.  When I wear it I get lots of compliments on it.  I say go for it!  And if you can find it on ebay for cheaper then you have no excuse! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you so much for responding!!!  Can you tell me how this coat fits?  I know Victoria's Secret tends to run big, so I'm wondering if you sized down at all?

It was true to size for me, with the exception of the sleeve length.  But like I said, I'm tall and my arms are long.

I'm 5'7 and I have pretty long arms - do you think I need a Tall?  I've never had to buy a tall coat, so I don't know...

That's a tough one.  If you get the tall, it might be too long on you.  The regular is the perfect length for me but I think I'm tall enough to pull off the longer length in the tall.

The way the coat fits me is the way it looks on model #2--the sleeve length hits just at my wrists and the coat length comes to my leg just where it does on the model in pic 2.  Which isn't bad, I just prefer to have my sleeves come down a little more.

I think that it depends on where you want the coat to hit on your legs and sleeve length.  I would probably go for the regular for you.  Maybe you can call and ask the sleeve length and coat length in your size.
