Hi !! I am new to this forum and have been hanging out, "lurking":I hate that word. I think this forum is great- I have watched a few others and this definately has the most positive and helpful atmosphere. Anyways, my question: I really am having the hardest time finding jeans that fit me good. I really like Lucky Brand Easy rider- but would like to add another style. I have a smaller waist, with wider hips and dont like anything too low rise. I have tried the usual: Gap, ae,etc... Would like something a little more "designer. At nordies I tried some COH, Paiges- Just not form my body type! I am a size 12- so maybe thats why! Maybe you have some ideas??

Not much of a designer jeans girl myself, so I'm not much help to you there.  I just wanted to say 'Welcome'!  Also, until you get some responses, you could try typing 'jeans' into the search function - I believe there's been a few discussions about higher-end jeans before .

I would reccommend Citizens of Humanity but specifically the Faye and Ingrid styles. I can't wear the others. Also, I think Joe's are cut roomier, specifically the Socialites, Honeys, and Lovers.

You were right when you said there have been a few discussions about this before! LOL! This has been very helpful, thanks for all your help! From what I have read I think I will try the COH Fayes and Ingrids, and the Joes. Should be able to find something here...

my sisters faves are the COH ingrids- they are very flattering on her and almost have holes in them from 2 years of near-everyday wear.

Hi, and welcome!

I have the same problem as you (smaller waist, wider hips), and I find that Paper Denim and Cloth jeans are the best. You should get a style with stretch in them. The denim is also super soft. I have been wearing the same pair of Paper Denims for the past two years, and they are still holding up despite a huge hole in one of my knees. They're great, and they are not that low rise. Give them a try! I think that you'll like them!

I think you should give AG a try...they're a little harder to find nowadays, which is sad because they're perfect jeans for girls with smaller waists and wider hips. I think the Legend cut would look especially good but the Angels are nice too.

if you're looking for a not-so-low-rise pair of jeans, chip and pepper's olivia jeans are good, too.

I have exactly same problem as you. I have small waist and wider hips. I m also size 12 and I do not fit in designer jeans which i m bit disappointed in. Even those jeans others recommended and they still dont fit, too tight in hips area but everywhere else is perfect.

I live in my A&F jeans from few years ago.(can find on ebay) I cant fit in their jeans that they sell nowdays..

I buy Gap jeans, low rise boot cut in stretch, I wear size 10 for that one. but for curvy jeans, size 12.

Levi's, I have several from the juniors dept, I use size 13 but a couple size 15 instead of going for mom's jeans in womens dept.

I m constantly on search for jeans that will love my hips! when I do, I sure would share with you!
