Need help finding a toner to get rid of oily skin on vacation
Permalink Closed

Hi.  I could use some help with a recommendation for some sort of toner to use to alleviate oily skin that I seem to get while in the sun (going to Maui).  Last time I was there I could not get rid of the oily skin.  I have somewhat sensitive skin.  Since I won't be wearing much makeup during the day, any suggestions on a toner or something that I could tuck in my beach bag?  Thanks so much

Since you said you have sensitive skin, I would suggest the aveeno one. I don't think it's as astringent/burning as most toners. Have fun on vacation!!

How about this one, it's for oily skin, but mild, so it won't bother your sensitive skin-

I have always like Dior toners...they're gentle but refreshing and smell light but lovely.

Just make sure your toner is alcohol free. Toners with alcohol strip the skin and trick it into thinking it's lost a lot of oil, so it goes into oil production overload, thus creating more oil!

Have fun on your trip!

Thanks for the good suggestions.  I stopped this a.m. & bought the Murad clarifying toner.  It sounds exactly like what I need, and not alcohol based.
