I keep thinking about these boots

Ok here's the story -  I keep thinking about these boots. They are $165. Do I NEED them..no ...do I want them...well, yeah, Kinda. Yesterday I logged on to Zappos and didn't see them so of course I REALLY wanted them, but I checked today and they are back. Do I get them?


It's not like I go anywhere these days (although I will more and more) I think they would look great with skirts...but I dont really wear skirts in the winter. And do you think they will look crappy after one winter?


But they are hot, right?


What can I wear them with??


 


Oh I don't know what to do - someone help!


ETA: is the tie around the ankles going to be annoying?

those boots are gorgeous, i love them.  but i'd be afraid of them getting really dirty...then again, i'm a klutz and my dog loves to put her dirty paws all over my feet when i'm wearing nice shoes. 


but if you can't stop thinking about them, get them.  do they come in other colors?

i like them. i bet if you got them weatherproofed, they'd look fine. also i don't think the string thing would be a problem unless you frequently take the shoes off and then putt them on again.

They would look great with skirts and tights.  Also cropped pants.  I agree that as long as you waterproof them, they should be fine.  Oh, and I think they'll look great come Feb/early March with more springy skirts.
