I have to say that I'm not excited. Most of the designs are not meant for my body type, and they don't really appeal to me in general. I hope the rest of you can get a hold of what you want though!
I wish we had an H&M in Atlanta...my first (and only) shopping there was this summer in NYC and I seriously luuuuurrve that store.

i am OBSESSED with almost all of this stuff. i love that raspberry colored tulip dress even more in the pic on the website, and i see that there is also a black skirt just like it. i also think that giant oversized cardigan sweater thing is awesome, and i even kinda like the jumpsuit...it's weird, but it would be really cool and different for a cocktail party with big jewelry and heels.
My oh my! Those sweaters and dresses will be mine! I must get to T town! Do you think this collection will sell out fast? I want to go there over x-mas break but I see it comes out in early Nov. so I don't want it to be gone!
I think the store locator is on the site. I seriously want so many things.
Last year for Karl's collection, a lot of stuff was in stores for weeks, but I wasn't that into them because it was more of a holiday/cocktail collection.. and some of the pieces didn't really work. BUT THESE! ohh! I could see so many of these things working into my everyday wardrobe!
me too, dot! i am, no joke, on the airline sites right now figuring out if i can make a trip to NYC to buy up all of it. i might as well go to NY for optimum H&Ming, because there are more stores in the same city than anywhere else. does this make me insane?

hahaha.. you are nuts! but i just bought a ticket to the west coast from nyc for about $275. i mean if you really rationalize it, that's far less than anything regular stella!

No because I strongly considered doing it myself...If I could afford to I would do it in a heartbeat!
As a consolation, my older brother is promising to stop by the one in Boston for me since he goes to school there and call the H&M spoils Christmas presents.
Luuuuuurve the seafoam green and cranberry dresses. *sigh* I would have to make a trek into Philly to get to the store...maybe I could go after work....
bumblebee wrote: and also, i REALLY wish you could order online :( I second this! These companies really need to get it together (Express, Limited, etc)!!!!
Ditto!! Don't they understand that e-commerce boosts business? Ugh. Rampage does the same thing!
i wish there was a way of finding out if the san francisco store will be open by 11/10. the fact that it is listed on the little stella page makes me think that they intend to sell the stuff at that one, but there's no info on that location anywhere else on the site.
i don't think i can afford to go to NY for this. but SF, for sure.
is this going to be like a limited edition thing? like the stuff will be in the stores for 1-2 days until it all sells out and then there will be no more?

It is a limited edition, and it's getting lots of hype from articles in the NY Times, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar. They're all saying the Lagerfeld collection sold out in a day (which I don't think is true), so I think that's going to stir up a frenzy.
I'm worried that because it won't be in all stores and a limited run, people will grab as much as they can and turn around and ebay it. I hope I'm worrying needlessly...
i feel like it's going to be next to impossible to get my hands on any of it, not living in a city that has H&M or being able to be at one when it opens that morning. i am envisioning lines around the block of people waiting for the stores to open. do you think that's going to happen?

I hope not. I actually told my boss I would be coming in late that day . It's been AGES since I have waited in line for anything (like all those crazy people who storm Walmart the day after Thanksgiving- shudder), so I don't really know what to expect!
Luckily, I don't think people in DC will care very much, so I have location on my side.
Well hell yeah I had to come post about this. Been away for awhile (mostly due to work and a man, long, boring story, won't get into it) but was just doing a little lurking when I saw this thread. I am not overwhelmed by the H&M collection but there are a few pieces I like and for those prices...no reason not to! I like the 'tulip' dress (raspberry colour, someone mentioned it above) as well as a couple of the satin camis and the culottes. And just to reconfirm my 'kinda likes weird stuff' status, I *like* the jumpsuit, yes I do. A lot.
No H&M's here but I have an operative in London on it, maybe. How long til this stuff shows up on eBay for 3 times the price? Her line for Adidas sells for above retail on eBay still, I think. I wonder if they'll limit purchases per customer or something?

Aw, thanks Bumblebee. I think the name 'Stella' mentioned on this site is, to me, the equivalent of a drop of blood in the water to a shark. I can smell it 10 miles away.
You are near an H&M, no? Any plans to get anything? What exact date does this stuff go on sale?
