I noticed in the weekend shopping thread that you both bought these pants - what are you planning to wear with them? I have a pair of pants that are very close to that color & I have the HARDEST time pulling outfits together with them. So far all I have worn them with is a black top & leopard shoes -

Anyone with suggestions is welcome to answer of course!

Hey laken1!


I already have the pants in the teal color and I love the fit so much I just had to get more.  I have an ugly navy polo that I can wear for school-related stuff (like working in our clinic, going to schools to do hearing screenings, etc).  I go to UVa, so it has a big orange "V" embroidered on it, and I hate khakis, so I needed something cute to wear it with.


Other than the lovely polo, I have already planned to wear the pants with dark brown tops, cream colored sweaters, light blue, and sage green.  I'm not sure what else, since I'm just going by the color I remember them being when I saw them in store.  I will let you know if I come up with anything else when I get them though!

I love these pants and must buy them!


I would wear them with tons of colors:



  • plum/purple

  • cranberry

  • deep fuschia

  • hunter green

  • teal

  • peacock blue

  • Rust (more red than orange colored rust)

  • Brown

  • Black

  • Ivory

I'm actually wearing these pants today and I also got them in the teal color. I wore them with a simple brown scoop neck sweater today, but have lots of other color ideas...

-yellow
-burgundy
-cream/off white
-white
-forest green
-pale purple/plum

i think they look great with any fall colors
and i'd post a pic but my digital camera batteries died ...sad day :(
