Dot, don't know if you're tried these on, but I have the midcalf version of these (I wanted the tall ones, but the calves were so huge) and they are super comfortable. I'm really pleased with them!

  • Christine thanks for the tip. My calves are super huge so I hope they work for me. I actually realized when I got home I probably have 3 more pairs of boots/booties that I didn't post!

    HA! not telling
honestly, I don't know I would have to count them at home - even then I probably wouldn't tell! I'll tell you one thing, I do have more shoes than boots...

NOT FAIR!!!! I just noticed you buying up a bunch of boots - i'm sure your shoe collection is impressive as well.

  • dot, i would try them on because while Lilykind looks HOT in hers, mine fit fine in the calf, but were bunched up around the ankles.

I have six i will need 2 more before i am SUPER happy with my collection, right now i'm just happy.

Brown: BCBG knee high round toe suede $56 on ebay!, moc ankle with kitten heel from nine west, kors beaverton in whiskey(everyone compliments me on these, i love the wedge heel and the shearling detail), J.crew cognac leather round toe with a thicker heel (love the color of these).

Black: BCBG knee high pointy toe leather, DKNY kitten heel pointy toe knee high (these are my favorite...gotta love kitten heel for getting around the city)

I still need a pair of brown kitten heel knee high (like the ones Lilykind has), and a black ankle pair that BCBG has right now.

3 pair + one new pair on the way = 4 (if i keep the new ones after trying them on)

(+ 1 pair of snuggly warm snow boots, but those don't count, right?)

The ones I have are the extended calf version and they have a little breathing room in the calf. They're very comfortable and so worth it!

Hmmm, I think I can remember them all without looking in the closet. Some of these are pretty old, I used to wear a ton of Nine West shoes in college.

    Nine pairs:

    • black knee high round toe, high heel (Nine West)

    • black snakeskin ankle, high heel (Nine West)

    • black mid calf pointy toe, high heel w/ strap and silver buckle (Nine West)

    • black knee high pointy-ish toe, high heel (Linea Paolo)

    • brownknee high round toe, medium heel (Forget who made them. Van Eli, I think)

    • brown slightly taller than ankle brown/tan/camel leater patchwork w/ pointy toe and high heel (Nine West)

    • burgundy knee high, pointy toe with small bronze buckle at the top (forget who made them)

    • camel ankle/ square toe/ thick heel (Nine West)

    • Silver high heeled ankle (Nine West)

I hope to get some cute brown wedge boots this year. :)
