have you ever been to the lake of the ozarks? if so, what do you enjoy doing when you were there? Yes, I have. It is actually in Missouri about 4-6 hours from me. I've only been once and it wasn't exactly a good trip (not because of the area, other reasons). It's been about 7-8 years ago and I don't remember much, except the area was pretty and they had an outlet mall.
what's your favorite place to eat at the Plaza in KC? Easy question, The Classic Cup Cafe. It is an adorable sidewalk cafe restaurant. Awesome chicken salad! They also have a good brunch menu. Thanks to Jah for the recommendation. Oh, and we always have to go to Cheesecake Factory for dessert
are you dressing up for halloween? if so what are you going to be? No, I'm actually going to be out of town. And we don't usually dress up or do anything. But that will change when we have babies, I'm seeing visions of coordinating family costumes, hehe!
what's your biggest pet peeve? People who drive slow in the fast lane.
*Describe your dream house... I really like castle-y type styles, complete with turrets. It would have at least 6 bedrooms and 8 baths, one bath for each bedroom and another one for each floor. A formal living, but not stuffy formal, comfortable elegance. A huge family room, open to the huge kitchen. Lots of fireplaces. Exposed stone and brick. Wood floors. Arched doorways. Spiral staircase in entryway. Big dining room for entertaining, also comfortable elegance, I want it to be easy to have big family gatherings for birthdays and such. Big outdoor kitchen w/outdoor fireplace and big deck. Oh, and a theatre room for the hubby
*What was your wedding like? Well, I loved my dress, I actually found it in a bridal magazine a year before I even met my husband and said that was the dress I wanted. The first bridal place I went to was a bridal outlet and they had it! My colors were navy and burgandy. My girls wore navy dresses and we all carried burgandy roses. To be honest, my wedding wasn't everything I wanted, my parents were being tighter than two coats of paint. Our relationship was at an awkward time, so they weren't exactly willing. But me and my husband really enjoyed the day and that's what matters in the end. Oh, and the cake was yummy
*Describe your perfect weekend. I like it when on Friday night we get together with friends for dinner and a movie. Then Saturday, start the day with a bike ride around the lake trail w/hubby. A nice relaxing lunch. Chill around the house. Then get ready and go out for dinner and a little shopping. Sunday, church, brunch w/friends and then relax the rest of the day at the house.
*If there was fire at your house (sorry... this sounds terrible) and you could save only 5 things, what would they be? Oh, and your husband and dog made it out so you can't choose them. Really the important thing would be that me and my hubby and the dog were ok. But the 5 things I would grab would be; photos, jewelry box that was my great grandmother's, steamer trunk that was my husband's great grandfather's, whatever clothes I could carry and my favorite blanket.
