so i posted before about getting a (non northface) fleece.. but all the ones i like are upwards of $150 and since i need to get a dressy black coat this year as well i feel bad spending that much money. I currently have a short red wool coat with toggles (two years old from GAP) and a short black puffer coat...


would this jacket be a good casual substitute? something i can wear with sweatshirts, etc. and also with nicer tees/sweaters to class?



or is it too similar to a regular winter coat and should i spring for the fleece?

The fact that this is a wrap jacket bothers me. Personally I feel like it'd be more of an inconvienence to constantly be putting on and off because of the wrap. But if you're ok with that then it's not a big deal. Have you seen it in person? Do you know how it looks when it's not tied? I personally think a fleece is great for any casual outfit.

I really like this fleece and it's only $80 and not NorthFace.  But maybe too similar to the GAP one?  I thought I'd post it anyways.

I think the wrap coat is pretty cool, but it might not be very practical for the days when you just want to throw something on. Plus the material looks too close to the black puffer coat.
