What color shoes...

I'm not usually stumped by color combos, but I just want to wear something that isn't over the top with this outfit. I'm recreating the outfit on the March 05 Lucky cover (with Keri Russell).  I want to wear it for a holiday party.  Here's the outfit:



  • Ivory trousers
  • Rose silk cami (still looking for this one)
  • Gold leather s/s blazer

I don't want to wear gold or pink shoes with this, but I don't want to bring another bright color into the mix.  I'm thinking maybe something neutral-ish, like these:




or maybe lavender??



Thoughts? Thanks!

that sounds like such a cute outfit. i think a neutral shoe (i really like the 4th pair) would be great.

Everything is solids right? If so i would go with the printed shoe to bring everything together.

Oh I LOVE #4...but #1 would be a good choice to tie all the pieces together as well. You're going to look gorgeous!

Thanks, girls.  The more I look at the pictures, the more I like #1.  On a side note, everyone at Rampage made fun of me for buying the gold blazer.  It's so cute!!!! And it looks almost identical to the one from Lucky that I have been obsessed with since I first saw it! I'll take pics and post them as soon as I can!

Thanks! And obviously, that isn't the only outfit I'll be wearing it with.  I think I'll wear it to work this week (at Rampage, not at the office) with destroyed jeans, a babydoll dress that has an ivory background and rose and pink colored flowers.
