Which pair of boots should I keep? (with IRL pics)

I want to stuff my jeans into these and wear them with knee-length/above-knee length skirts. Which do you like better?

J. Crew Madyson Extended Calf $150 (2.5 in kitten heel, leather shaft/lining/sole...the leather smells like high quality stuff though)

Bebe $219 (4 in. heel, round toe, leather shaft/lining/sole...but doesn't smell like leather shoes or anything)

Kate Riding Boot

Also, do you think I can wear boots stuffed in jeans. I'm well-proprotioned but I'm 5' 3" in stocking feet.

Love both boots, hard to pic one, Id prob go with the first ones though.  BTW, where did you get those jeans, I really like them and are what ive been looking for... desperately need skinny jeans!  Hoping they weren't too expensive, need to find a cheap pair.

I like #1. Maybe it is just the angle of the shot, but I feel like the pointed toe makes you look taller.

Also, totally think you can rock the look. You're Lilykind! Duh!

i'm a boot fanatic. it really depends on what you want to do with them, but i think 1 is a better bet if you're only going to keep one pair. it's more versatile and can be dressed up or down, plus i can vouch for the quality of j.crew boots.

i like the j.crew ones.  i ordered them, but have to return them today because they are too big in the calf.  .  i'm going to try some other j.crew boots though.  i must say, Lilykind, i have some that are 4 years old and going strong.  i'll post a pic when i get a chance if you want.  i love the quality of the j.crew boots and i'm glad that you found some that fit.  when i saw that style poll topic about finding the perfect...i immediately thought of you and your boot problems.  .  deciding between two is not a bad problem to have AT ALL!!!.

I like the second ones best with jeans tucked in, but I think you should keep both, because you said you have trouble finding boots to fit your calves, and those both seem to fit.

I'm saying #1.  I think they both look great, but I think J.Crew boots are much better quality.

I like #2 better with the jeans tucked in, it looks better proportioned.  And I totally think you can do the jeans tucked into boots, just maybe with a blazer or chunky sweater, again for the proportions.  Maybe keep both boots (bad, I know) but they really can go with different things, the J Crew are more sleek and would look great with skirts and under pants, the Bebe one with skirts and jeans tucked in.

I love both boots! But I think #2 works with jeans tucked in. The first pair will be good with skirts and under jeans. You need both!

I like #2, especially if you want to wear them over pants. Really though I think that each pair has it's own vibe and that with certain outfits one pair will definitely look better than the other. Maybe you could keep both?

i think that you should keep #2 if you want to do the jeans stuffed into boots looked.  my mom saw those (looking over my shoulder) and she STRONGLY preferred them.  She said they were more classic- go figure, i guess they remind her of growing up in the 70's   I like them both and it would def. depend on what I needed them for.   For fun i'd pick #2, for work at a conservative place, #1.  Are they both comfy?
