I fell in with the green dress missmee posted on Wednesday from smartbargains (green strapless).  Well I went and ordered it also that afternoon and they had it left in my size.  I got the confirmation email and all saying they had it, it was shipping soon, yada yada yada.  Well today I was going on there to get the pic to post in weekend shopping and the easiest way was to go straight to my account and click on the order number. 


Well when I logged in I got a shocker.  A big CANCELLED on Wed 10/19/05 next to my order with no explanation!!!!!!   I never got an email or anything.  I am so mad right now.  I loved that dress and thought I was getting it.  I would have gotten over it if they would have told me but now I'm just pissed because they weren't going to tell me and I'd have been checking my mailbox everyday looking for that thing.

they completely lost something of mine last year -- I ordered a shawl like a month before I needed it, and they charged me but had no idea where it was. It showed up two months later, after I'd cancelled the order.

WHAT!!!???!!!!  OMG, that sucks!  Have you called or emailed them about it?  I went and checked on my order and it shows it to be in transit.  I hope they don't cancel it!  I actually need it on the 27th, but they have it to be delivered "on or before the 31st."  I'm crossing my fingers..............

Missmee - I sent them an email on how I felt about the situation and basically said they didn't have their webpage up to date when I ordered it and offered free standard shipping on my next order.  Not the same as getting the dress but oh well. 


I'm excited you are getting it.  Definitely post a review on it when you get it.

Well, maybe their webpage wasn't updated, but shouldn't their ordering system be???  Geez Louise, how many times must they have done that to people given their limited number of each item?


Free shipping my ass.  I only paid 99 cents for shipping on that dress anyway because of their deal going on.  Do you live near me?  We can share the dress!!!!
