Kind of dumb... but I've been wondering

If you wear a longer length (single or muti-strand) necklace - what type of earrings do you wear??

Tiny studs.

I think it's a matter of your personal style.  I hardly ever wear studs, regardless of what kind of necklace I'm wearing.  I think dangly earrings can look cool with layered necklaces.  But again, if you work in a conservative environment, work probably isn't the place to be flashing all of that jewelry around, but for a night out, I'm all about piling it on. (see my answer to a 'earrings with a chunky necklace' post).

maybe sort of large round disc earrings to offset the length of the necklace.  depends on your outfit/environment.

(maybe for wooden summery jewelry?)

sorry, it is hard for me to find examples at the moment.  Jlear has some awesome pieces that she wears all the time with her long necklaces- i think she's in NY right now though.
