Earrings with bold chunky necklace?

I'm wearing a long double stranded necklace with beads.  I didn't put in earrings, but now I wish I had (I feel naked).  What do you suggest?  Simple diamond studs?

I think it depends on where you're going--work, class, out at night, etc.  If you're at work, small drop earrings or studs is fine.  If I'm going out, I think it's fun to pile on the jewelry, so as long as I didn't look ridiculous, I would wear whatever earrings I felt like. I don't follow the less is more rule (most of the time ).
