i'm getting a bit nervous for my grammy.  she lives in fla.  and may have to evacuate.  she's 80.  last year she had to evac. 3 times because of storms.  she was fine then ( at least more fine than she is now) but it's worse now because of her Alzheimers. she's married, but her husband is up there in years too. 


just needed to tell someone else besides my parents & butthead.

Last I heard, it's supposed to hit late Sunday night/Monday morning. I hope we don't have to evacuate .  Tara, where does she live? <--- in FL, that is

hmmm, my parents just evacuated TO orlando (from naples). i know the projection can change in the next day or two, but it seems that orlando is far enough north to be a safe place right now.

I live in South florida and what they are telling us is that it will be bad for naples and the west coast of Fl but Orlando should be ok. My parents live in Tampa so they are closer to the coast and since it is going to be further down south, they are not going to be majorly impacted (they are still going to get something though). What is going to be tough is for Naples, Keys and then it is going to go across the state to around West Palm Area, where it should be a one by then.

Hey tara, I'm in Orlando right now so your grandma is probably fine.  We had a lot of rain this morning but right now it is beautiful and sunny out.  I hope she's okay!


Anyone from South Florida?  How is it down there?
