I'm so excited I'm getting a red one tomorrow. If anyone drives one here how do you like it, with all the gas price increases I think this wil be a money saver. I wanted a red one for so long and we found a great deal on a used 2004.

I am so SO JEALOUS!!!!!! It's made my list of kinds of cars I want when I get a new / different one - lots have gotten chopped off the list but I still love this one so much. So i'm anxious to see the answers as well. Someone here definately has one - i want to say bex but I'm not positive -won't that be scary if it's true - I can't even remember my husband's cell #, but I many remember what kind of car some chick I don't really "know" drives? Sometimes I scare myself.

ANYWAY - congrats!!!!!! and post pictures!!!

LOL! I'm pretty sure it's bex.

Everyone I know who has either test-driven or owned a Mini has absolutely loved it. One of my good friends who lives in Connecticut and goes to school in New Hampshire. She has a lovely ivory one with black top and black racing stripes. She named her car Nigel and is in love with everything, even how well it does in snowstorms considering how tiny it is. She's so into it that she got one of her other good friends to get a red one, which they promptly named Pepper.

I've actually barred my BF from getting one in British Racing Green because I want to get it for myself when I have my license and all. Would it be bad if my BF and I drove the same car?

i have a 2005 Mini Cooper S.  It is "purple haze" color with grey leather interior.

I it.  It is perfect for my job and it does get decent gas mileage (i am lucky b/c my job pays for my gas though!).  I get about 30 miles to the gallon.  The BMW service guys told me that I don't have to use Premium gas in it- Plus is fine.  So, recently with the gas prices at $2.80-$2.90- I have been filling up at around $35-38 dollars.  But, today I filled up at $2.50 at $30!  yippee!!

The best thing about Minis is their ability to hold resale value.  That is why i ended up getting a 2005 instead of a used one.  For a couple thousand more- I got a brand new car that I got to choose ALL the specs on!  It was fun to do and it was also the first car I ever bought myself.  The past two I had were given to me by my parents (one in HS and one in College)... So my MINI is special b/c of that too.

IF you have any other questions- feel free to ask.

Happy motoring!

edit- just saw that the others knew i was the one with a MINI-  *blushes* i can't believe you guys remembered!
