I'm considering getting this Michael Michael Kors hobo bag, it's in my price range, and I've been lusting after a brown or tan hobo bag for a while.  Do you guys like this one, or can I do better? (feel free to post alternatives!)

i have that bag and i love it.  it's very comfy to carry.  it also looks better the older it gets. i say get it :)
