since I only spent $250 on my wedding dress, I could spend $600 on the shoes, no?

why not? if you love them and have the money--go for it!  shoes are something you'd wear again and again, too--not so with the dress.  they're gorgeous, BTW.

am not engaged- but i do talk about my wedding day (as all girls do!) and my plan is to have my mother make my dress and then buy ridiculously expensive shoes like the ones ILoveChoo posted!

sorry to confuse!

Yes, definitely. Do it!  I will probably do the same thing.  I'm not really into frilly dresses.  My wedding dress will probably just be a regular cocktail dress and cost no more than $400.

Haha I wholly approve! I think that if you only ever buy one pair of truly fantastic shoes, buy them for your wedding day.

I'm not engaged or anything either, but I have a good idea of what I'll be wearing to get married. I plan on having a lovely pair of either green or pink Louboutins to wear with a short ivory day dress (definitely less than $500) and a hat.

Hey, that's my plan too!  I just want a simple dress from J Crew or something and then really nice shoes.  You only wear the dress once but you can wear the shoes all the time and they will be a wonderful reminder of your special day!
