make up event- should I go?

At out local makeup boutique, they are hosting an event to debut Fresh Makeup's new minerals line. I like mineral makeup but I wear a brand I bought off Ebay. I have never been to an event before, are they worth going to? You get a free makeover, but aren't you obligated to buy the products?

I haven't tried any Fresh make-up, but I have been to a make-up event.  Usually it's when they bring the national make-up artists to a local boutique I go to.


They'll do your make-up, and you are under no obligation to buy anything.  I'll make an appointment when I need something (recently it was concealer).  If I like it, I'll buy it, otherwise I will ask them to write down the other products they used, in case I want to come back and buy them later.
