In this month's what to wear (which is fabulous, BTW) the outfit for the poetry reading is showing cropped trousers with shoes. Would this be bare legged? Or would tights work? I have a cute pair of cropped trousers but I haven't found the perfect knee high boot to wear with them, yet, but I would love to wear them. Just can't figure out if the shoes work or not. Thanks!!!

hey sage, i was thinking bare legs when i wrote the article (because weather-wise i think we can get away with it for a little while longer... well, depending on where you live of course) but i think a pair of tights would be cute as well. a patterned pair would be really cute!

i'm glad you liked the article this month.

thanks for the advice, hotcocoa! I was thinking cute tights, a la sephorablue in her threadstyle post. I don't want to rush the boot purchase just to wear the pants, but I want to wear the pants! Mmmm. I need some real concerns. Thanks again!

yes, cute tights a la sephorablue (i had to run over to threadstyle to peek). wear the pants now, find perfect boots later!
