Lmonet and/or others...Repetto shoes?
Permalink Closed

Does anyone know where to find different style of Repetto dance shoes for sale online? I saw a whole bunch of them in a boutique in a different city recently and now I'm having a small obsession with them.

Specifically I am in love with some gold leather ones that look like a character shoe (about 2" heel) but have open toes like a sandal (maybe they are for ballroom dancing or something?), and they also make ballet flats that have a hard sole put on the outside for everyday wear.

I've already checked the big online dance stores, and they seem to only have Capezio and Bloch, and eBay only has pointe shoes by Repetto.  Please help!!

Repetto is made in France and pretty obscure, and therefore hard to find as you know!  There is a place in Portland called Odessa that sells Repetto, but they don't have a website .

These sound like they might be similar in style to the Repetto ones you covet.

As for flats, there's a British website http://www.toastbypost.co.uk/Home.aspx that has these:

http://www.dandelionfeet.com/Repetto.html has these:

This site has a large selection of ballroom shoes, but no Repettos:

Thanks, Leah--I knew you would know.  Maybe it's best to just call the boutique and order them--I was kind of hoping I could find a deal, because they were around $250 I think.  I know they're hand-made shoes and that's a fair price, but I am trying to be good.  The style is really similar to that third one (the black ones)--are those the Capezio ones? I saw those a few places.

Remember the days of spray-painting to get the color you wanted for a costume? I love that they make more choices now!

**edit--thanks for the danceshoes4u rec--these might work almost as well, and for $59...yay!

what do you think?

For my wedding.  Oh so comfortable!

I hope you find what you're looking for, and you'd better post pics when you do!

ETA:  Oh!  I think the ankle straps on those are hot!
