I was hoping you could help me with my invitations - I've received my samples from Papersource and just ordered some samples from Paper and More, but I'm having trouble finding the correct colors.  I like the chocolate color I got from Papersource, but the chartreuse and the red/orange weren't exactly what I'm looking for.  I am hoping the Terracotta color from Paper and More will be the right shade of burnt orange for us.  Do you know where I could find a good chartreuse color paper?  Something nice and crisp?

Any other recs?

TIA!

i know you posted this to someone else, but since i have a stationery business i have some suggestions for the chartreuse paper. i'm not sure exactly what color you are looking for, but it the paper source color isn't right, these might work for you. i love using Impress Rubber Stamps for paper - it's a bit pricier than other places ($0.45 per sheet) but they have some more uncommon colors so it's worth the cost if you can find the shade you are looking for. their paper is color on the front and white on the back, so i'm not sure if that would be a problem for what you are planning to do, but it's a nice medium weight (about 80#) cardstock.

this is their color chart - i thought maybe the key lime or the pale chartreuse might work for you -

here is the link to the paper - http://www.impressrubberstamps.com/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Duplex_Paper&Category_Code=P2

also, check out www.paperzone.com - they have a lot of different types of paper and you might find something in your colors there. not sure if you would consider linen paper, but maybe one of these greens would work (from the Brazzil Garden collection of 12 x 12" paper) -

 Bazzill Garden Linen

Or the Terra Green in the Astrobrights collection -

 Astrobrights 8.5"x11" 65lb Cover

sorry to butt in - hope that helps!

Smash, I'd like to get some samples from Paperzone.  In the Astrobrights collection, they have 60 lb Text and 65 lb Cover.  Which would be best for invites and inserts?

glad i could help!

if you are going to be attaching the page that you print on to another heavier sheet - like if you were going to be using the brown cardstock as a backing and wanted to put the chartreuse on top of that, I'd go with the 80lb text. if you want something that will have a bit of heft on its own and won't be attaching it to another sheet, i'd go with the 80lb cover - it's heavy enough to stand alone, but can still be run through the majority of printers.

eta: ok, just saw you changed the weights - when dealing with 65lb, i'd go with the cover regardless of whether you plan to attach it to another sheet or not. the 65lb cover might even be a bit too flimsy to stand alone, but it's worth checking in the sample. so i'd recommend going with the 65lb cover.
