I have just finished putting myself on the waitlist for the large, black leather, Gucci Horsebit Hobo.  I think I'm in shock that I'm actually spending THAT much on one item...

honestly, though, that bag will still be in style 10, 20 years from now... your cost-per-wear will be next-to-nothing eventually.

Oh, I know that cost-per-wear will be pretty low, because once I get it, I will be carrying it everyday.

I also don't necessarily have a problem dropping that much cash on something that's classic and will be around for years either.

Other than my car, which I don't count, this is the first single item I've spent that much on. I don't think my poor checking account will know what hit it

Lynnie:  It's $1420....I also splurged for Next Day delivery, so add on another $30 for that (Hey, I figured at that point, what the hell is another $30??)..

Haha!  That was my feelings when i went to buy my kate spade organizer a few weeks ago.  What was an extra $8 here and there for refills and the 2005 calendar for it since it was already stocked with 2006.

holy crap thats a lot of money, but well worth the investment. it kind of makes me dizzy thinking abt spending that much on a bag....but this is only because i am poor :(

I think dizzy perfectly describes how I felt after I placed the order.....At the time the bag ships, Gucci will receive about half of my checking account balance.  Fortunately, I'll be able to make up 2/3 of the cost within a month.


Still, yeah, it's a LOT of money....
