You will never believe that I just ordered that jacket like 2 minutes ago. I will give a review when I get it. I just ordered two sizes and will return the one that doesn't fit. Since I live in podunksville where we have no stores, I figure that is the best way for me to shop. I would spend more on gas than I do paying for the extra shipping.
I am in love with that jacket. I have been searching all over for it for 2 weekends now!!! Everyone is sold out. I am so mad because in the stores it is $25 and online it is $45. I think I'm going to just suck it up and order it tonight because I am just in love with it.
That said I think it runs true to size. I am a small at gap and I tried a 4 and it was a tad small but fit and so I'm ordering a 6 which is what size I usually am. I really have no reference though since I am between 4s and 6s at every freaking store and half my clothes at home don't fit.
Sorry... back to your dilemma. I would get it in an 8 since that is your normal size. It is also a lighter brown than what is showing IMO so you may or may not like it. More of a camel brown than a chocolate brown. The black is beautiful though just FYI.

LSU -- before you overpay online, you should see if a store will do a charge-send. My store had some today... I can't remember the sizes, but they had a couple. Let me know if you want the #.

how do you do a charge send halleybird?? I might have to look into that. I wonder if the CS would adjust the online price for the instore price. Anyone know??

I think you just call them and ask them to send it to you. I've done it with BR several times, so I assume it works the same for Gap. As for the price adjustment, I've had it done at BR -- you have to have the exact store location where it is selling for the lower price, and that store must have the item in stock (I don't think it has to be the same size, though).

When my jackets come in and I return the one that doesn't fit, do you think the store will give me a price adjustment for it? I am thinking I will carry the one that doesn't fit to the gap closest to me.
I actually have that jacket in brown and black. It fits really nicely and runs tts. I ordered the brown one online and went to the store yesterday to get a price adjustment, but the SA said that they can't adjust online prices in the store. She told me to call the 800 number and they will adjust the price to match the stores' sale price. HTH!

Do I just give them the location of the store and the store sale price to get them to adjust it?
