So, the original girl with the Ugg situation PM'ed me.....5 hours after the deadline I gave her and 3 days after she said she would pay me....
I feel kinda bad, but maybe I shouldn't.... PM'ed her back and said that I was really sorry, but because of the deadline, I had another potential buyer expressing interest and that I couldn't accept payment from her anymore because of that...She wanted to pay me in a few days...
Tell me I did the right thing....And if not, I need some advice..
If this causes "issues" with me and her, prompting interaction the rest of the board, I'm going to lay low there for awhile, but I think I was being awfully patient with her and feel that she could have let me know this by my deadline..
Why should you feel bad? She constantly flaked on you. I wouldn't worry about it. If she wanted them so bad she should have emailed/paid you on time. It's not fair for you to have to wait around for her to take her sweet time.

It sounds to me like you bent over backwards to help this girl and she was a consistent flake, especially if you had seen that she had been online and just didn't respond to you. You did the right thing, I think, and you were far more patient than I would have been. I would have dropped her after the first time she flaked on you. It sounds like you were totally reasonable with her too, so I doubt you'll feel any repercussions of this on your other forum.
I checked my mail on the other forum this morning, and she messaged me back and said that there were no hard feelings, and that it was her fault for missing out on them.
I guess "alls well that ends well" in this situation, so no more freaking out for me
Thanks ladies! I checked my mail on the other forum this morning, and she messaged me back and said that there were no hard feelings, and that it was her fault for missing out on them. good for her! and yeah, you did the right thing
