I just want a cheapie pair for the bars here, but I'm not sure which of these pairs I should get.  My tiny thing with the 1st pair is that the toe isn't totally pointy; with the 2nd pair, they're not high.  However, I will only be wearing these boots with pants (skirts are unbearable during winter here), so I'm not sure shaft height will be an issue.


The only other thing with the 2nd pair, is that the boot does NOT fit against my ankle/lower calf, because I have skinny legs, so the shape of the boots will be visible under pants if the pants are anything but jeans (meaning any more fluid of a material).  I do always just wear jeans to the bars, so that also might not be an issue.  These boots are also real leather, so they look much nicer than the first pair..

I actually didn't end up getting either; I got these instead:



I figured that they have my pointy toe and are tall. Plus, they should be halfway decent for winter too, since there's traction on the bottom and it's only a kitten heel. Hopefully there will be no falling on my ass in them on the icy sidewalks.
