I have this in both colors (but I really LOVE it and it fits me soooo well). I was going to wait on a sale to buy the camel one - but I'm glad I didn't - there selling out!
I bought this and LOVE it too. So I'm thinking of ordering it in brown. Lord knows I wear enough brown that it'd really get some use
And after getting these yesterday and seeing how GREAT they fit and look (and not having to spend extra to have them tailored or hemmed) I'm thinking of ordering them in the sage color.
I do things like that too. If something fits me well and I love it I buy it in different colors. I even have some shoes that are the same different color.
I don't think that it is crazy at all. Especially if you have a hard time finding things that fit you, like I do. Now at least you know you will be cozy, cute AND have color options. I don't see a problem with that!
I don't know why people always think this is weird (not just you, Rar). If it's a staple item - like a V-neck, or a great pair of pants, then why not buy it in several colors? Most folks do that with bras / panties, as well as tanks and tees, so I don't see why other things should be so different.
For me, well-fitting clothes are *so* hard to come by, that when I find something that works, I want it in every available color (within reason, of course - I don't look good in all colors). It certainly minimizes wardrobe anxiety when I have a closet full of things I like, and that I know fit me well.

I understand buying the same thing in different colors, but be careful cause it can make your wardrobe a little boring and you feel like you're wearing the same thing all the time.
Actually, I think you're being very sensible. I wish I had thought of getting my favorite sweaters in a couple of different colors, too! With timeless, classic pieces like that, it's definitely worth it to stock up on them if you can afford it.
I don't think it's crazy. With staple pieces like what you got, I think it's OK to have more than one. You'll wear them to death if they fit you super-well and the style is classic.
But you're talking to someone who...
owns two pairs of the same Abercrombie jeans in two different washes because they fit so well and the rise is low enough but not too much so.
owns 3 Juicy hoodies...if the budget allowed, it would really be more like 8 -10 in all colors of the rainbow. You may even want to count the 4th one, except that's a merino wool cable knit one.
own two pairs of Alvin Valley pants in the exact sample pinstripe but different colors.
So I'm not sure I'm the best one to measure insanity against.
Not to hijack post but... Does anyone know how they get the model to pose the EXACT same in two diff colour articles of clothing? Like even the wrinkles are the same, and the way the bow falls on the second sweater

Kisa, they just alter the color of the sweater instead of doing two separate shots - its the same on Gap and BR websites. It would be very freaky if they could get the model to do the same exact pose!
