Does anyone know where to find long shirts. When I say long, I mean a shirt that will hit past my hips i.e. not a "belly shirt"? I don't know where I could find these; I just need some basics. TIA
I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but I have this from AE in two different colors. If you're interested you may want to check the actual store because when I bought mine they were $10 cheaper than what's listed on the site and they also had other colors.
I need long shirts too. I've found J. Crew shirts are pretty long on me and are good quality.
You can order button downs in tall sizes, which are really long. Unfortunately my arms aren't that long but I sacrafice rolling up my sleeves for the length in the torso.
I also LOVE their tissue tees. They only come in one length, but they are long, soft, and thin (perfect for layering). These are my new favorite basics.
Thanks girls, I've been looking for tunic length tees with a nice graphic on the side. I'm going to check out AE this wknd & maybe do a little DIY w/the graphic.

BQ, what are you going to do to them to create a graphic? Just curious, I'm always looking for a way to DIY my stuff & I can't embroidery everything I own!!

Nothing too complicated. I'm thinking of putting a pirate ship outline on the side of the shirt. I saw a girl get a tatoo on one of those TLC tatoo reality shows and thought it would be really cool to put it on the tee. When I find the right picture I'm going to use that carbon copy paper to trace it on then I'll either use fabric paint or embroider the outline. I hope it turns out ok.

there is also som paper that you can buy at (Michael's or someplace like that) that will allow you to print out the graphic on your printer and then iron it onto the shirt. It comes out a little platic-y looking, but for just an outline it would probably work well.
That sounds sooo cute! Post pics when you are done. I also second SFC's Jcrew tissue tees, not for the graphic, but if you want plain and in fun colors I love them too!
Nunzi82, I just bought 2 blouses at Forever21 and I loved them because they fit pretty long. I think a lot of thier clothing is like this. Might want to check that out!?!
