i volunteer with Big Brother Big Sisters and my little sister and I were chosen to be in a recruitment DVD!  they are taping us tomorrow at their offices.  i know they are going to talk to us about our experiences together, what it means to us, etc.  and they are also going to get some shots of us doing stuff together outside.


the director said to dress casual, jeans and a sweater type deal.  any suggestions???

I love Big Brother Big Sister. I wasnt in the big organization but my school did something like it where we would go to elementary schools and be with the little kids!


For the video I say you should wear some nice jeans with boots since you will be outside and a cute sweater or a long sleeve blouse

I am going to jump on the jeans/boots/sweater bandwagon.  Or even a sporty but cute looking jeans/sneakers/long-sleeved tee outfit.  You want to look cute, but not like you wouldn't be willing to jump around in the leaves or play softball with your little sister.

Hmmmm...I would wear something like a knit hoodie, t-shirt underneath, jeans, and Fryes.

thanks guys for your suggestions!  it will def. help out when i get home and can look in my closet to be reminded of what i own!


i think what i may wear is:



  • my tan/white pumas

  • dark denim 7's

  • a tank/tee

  • hoodie

def. cute and casual enough that i could run around with my little if i needed too
