I've liked it for a bit, but have reservations because of it being cropped (I'm a super huge fan of really long shirts). I also decided not to buy it because of the price ($70).

I really need to stop buying things, but I was going to allow myself to buy 3 of those thermals from Delias this weekend, but that's it. Now, the Gap jacket is on sale for $50. I'm very tempted to order it now and see how it is IRL and return it if necessary (I know they have easy returns, so I have nothing against that).

But, I'm trying to talk myself out of it because, on sale or not, it's still an extra $50 I probably don't need to spend, especially if I get the thermals.

Someone talk me out of buying the Gap jacket! I occasionally have clear moments where I have every intention of not buying it, but the "Eh, whatever, you technically have the money for it, just buy it!" side keeps coming out.

Phew! Sorry, that was kind of long....Any opinions/advice?

Well, is there something else you might want to spend your $50 on?  I personally am not a huge fan of that jacket.  It doesn't look warm or very comfortable to me. It also looks a bit boxy.  The short sleeves and short length give it a shrunk in a bad way look to me.  Plus I have really long arms so I think I would look ridiculous in it. How's that???

Well, I for one don't like that particular type of jacket. The boxy shape makes me look like I don't have a waist, which is not the least bit flattering.

Sienna Miller has a jacket like that in red and it's surprsing verstile. I think it's super cute and would go well in your style. I'm style it'll go on sale soon. Not many people know how to style things like that.

I'm not a huge fan of the jacket.  It looks a bit too boxy and the cropped part of it is just not working for me.  I'm just not sure it'd be all that flattering on.

This is exactly what I'm hoping for; I think I will hold out and see if it will go a lot cheaper, and then pray that my size will still be available...

Honestly, I think it won't flatter anyone who isn't slim like Sienna...that girl could look good in a potato sack because she's the size of a toothpick! But it would be worth it to try on if you've been eyeing it. I want to say it's been in Lucky but I don't think they styled it or anything.

I actually bought that jacket in red and I like it although I haven't worn it yet. I think you should get it. It will definately stand out from all the jackets out there. I just called and got a price adjustment too. Yay for me.
